: With iguanas, it's never too late to try. I've
: known plenty of instances where people have
: socialized or potty trained adult igs. In fact,
: I've done it myself.

: As for the best method, that depends on where
: you want your ig to poop. I'm currently training
: a 9-month-old iguana to poop in the tub. For
: training, I simply put the little guy in a couple
: inches of warm water in the tub at the same time
: every day. Currently, we're successful a little
: more than half the time, which I think is pretty
: good for a juvenile. With time, I hope and expect
: him to improve.

: The key is patience. Good luck!

Thanks for responding.
I dont want him to go in the tub though. I would like to get a litter box or something like that to put in one corner of the room for him to go in.
I read that you can just take some of his poop and put it where you want him to go.
Does this work or do you (or anyone else) have any better suggestions???
Thanks for any help,
Jennifer
