Too little to cut nails?

In the 3 weeks and a day that I've had Minga, she's grown 1/4 of an inch snout to vent, and a whole inch in total length! Minga is now a foot long, and 3 3/4 in svl. So is it too early to start nail trimming? When she walks on my arm, it feels like a bunch of little pins! Oh, and while I'm at it, a little update... Today during the bath, we had a small breakthrough! I was talking softly to her telling her that it's okay to climb on my hand to get out of the water, and low and behold she marched right over, tongue flicked my palm, and up she went! It was truly a speacial moment! Enough of my rambling... Thanks all Sara
