i can understand wanting to get a cute little iglet, but there are *so* many grown igs that need good homes, i think most people are gonna say to go that way ... and i agree! there are so many nasty horror stories about pet stores that i really + truly wish people would stop buying igs from them altogether ...

that said, i rescued iZ (adopted him) when he was 1yo and i couldn't love him more than if i'd raised him from an egg!! he needed me so much more than any iglet could ... and that's true for all older igs, they need us more right now!

one thing about an older ig is that they're prob'ly a little bit more socialized than an iglet would be ... 'taming' might go a little easier, a little faster ... (notice i said *might* ... *grin*) ... it did with iZ + me anyway ...
