Ready to start taming

I just got a iguana about 3 weeks ago, and he is doing great. He is used
to his new home, is eating well, and has shedded about 4 times already
and is growing like crazy. Now I am ready to start taming him and getting
him us to being handled. What is the best way to start this and how should
I go about it? What are some ways to do it for his best welfare?
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated....THANKS
