: I just got a iguana about 3 weeks ago, and he is doing great. He is used
: to his new home, is eating well, and has shedded about 4 times already
: and is growing like crazy. Now I am ready to start taming him and getting
: him us to being handled. What is the best way to start this and how should
: I go about it? What are some ways to do it for his best welfare?
: Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated....THANKS
How big is the iG? I hear it just takes a lot of time, must handle the ig daily and
let him out of the enclosure. Some people say put a freshly worn sock, t-shirt, etc, in
the enclosure so he can get use to your smell. Some igs never become tame, and all have
the tendency to be wild at times. Just ask HARRY, he seems to be the non-tameable type!
Good Luck!
