Lately it's been unbearably hot in my area, and since it rarely ever gets this hot we have no air conditioning.
During the day when I'm at school and my parents are at work, there's no one here and I'm afraid to turn my iguana's ceramic heat emitter or heating pad on because it just gets so hot I'm afraid he'll suffocate in his glass cage. I leave his UVB light on, but he's quite upset without his beloved heat emitter. Is there some sort of low-heat source I can use during a heat wave like this that won't roast him? I'll be getting a screened cage soon, so I probably won't have this problem in the future, but is there anything I can do now for poor Dexter? Thank you all!
May the Iguana be with you!
