Force feeding?

Well I recently got a rather sick male iguana...He's about 4 feet long and When I got him he could barely walk or even open his eyes....He was severly malnureshed..(Dog food..YUK) Well I decided it was not to late to save him...Well after 2 weeks of force feeding he's a little crusher now....Hes Gotten most of his color back..Hes hydrated and has a plump healthy look to em'
Ive gotten plenty of minerals into him and calcium...His stools a looking good...But he wont seem to eat on his own...Unless I get it right up to his snout...At the time he was vetted hand feeding was the least of my worries...How do you convert the little guy to eat from a bowl instead of my poor lizard eaten fingers....????any suggjestions would be appreciated...ThanX..
