Hi,
I just saved the life of a wild iguana. A few weeks ago a big iguana moved into our neighberhood, I thought it was great but my neighber didn't, it ate all his hibiscus flowers. anyway he caught it and was going to kill it when I rescued it. Its approx 4 ft long and looks healthy. my questions are can I tame it? How to tell if male or female? Will it hurt my birds? (I have lots of Mccaws & Parrots)I do know a little about them, I used to have wild ones living in my yard all the time and they used to swim in the lake behind my house. I know what to feed them. I have a big Mccaw cage I can keep it in. Last question would it be better to let him go back into the wild? (in another area so it dosen't get the rath of my neighber again)I want what's best for it. (although I'm already in love with it!)
