More than likely this ig WAS someone's PET...either lost or dumped who knows..Femoral pores easiest way to tell sex...at 4 ft...they should be discernable....large ugly callous looking plugs in a line along the inner thigh boy...little tiny flowerets (do not resemble callouses or have the waxy plugs like males do)along the inner thigh=girl.
Either way I'd get this ig to the vet for a checkup...vet will be able to sex it in case youre not sure. Majority of iguanas here in US especially that age are WILD!! Taming takes quite a while...Be on your gaurd...the honeymoon phase is in effect!
