Booger might just might be tame (or timid), but when she does her "shudder-bob" it's not as much of a warning, per se, more of just a sign that she's being made uncomfortable.
She's just sayin' "I don't like being touched there -- please stop", but she's never come anywhere close to tail-whipping or biting -- heck, she just sits there and patiently waits for you to stop whatever started the shuddering.
(Of course, I haven't made any scientific studies of the matter to see if she will eventually bite me *grin*, but before I knew that it meant she was unhappy I had her "shuddering" for several minutes on one occasion before I gave in and stopped stroking her spine. You're right-- it is a hoot to see.)
