there *is* a "friendly bob" ... am thinkin' the "figure 8 bob" might be one of them?? would think it'd look alot like a shudder bob ... anywho ... it *is* hard to not laugh right in his face when he does it!!!

iZ goes thru periods where he'll bob in greeting when i go into his room ... (then he gets po'd and quits for awhile ... few weeks later, he'll start doing it again + act like it's a cool new trick he's learned ... silly kid!)

and ... as igs get older, they may tend to re-enforce the bobs with bites/whips more than when they're younger ... i say this kind of as a disclaimer to the newbies ... bobbing today may not be a real threat but during mating season next year, it could be a whole 'nother ball game ... always beware + respect the bob!
