I'm getting an Iguana, I've been reading and reading and reading for a month on care and the such
Anyways, I have an old ball python cage that i want to put the iguana (possibly 2 if i can sex them at the store right)
The cage is made of plywood - 48" Tall x 23" Wide x 26" Deep. it has a screen (totally escape proof) top, and a plexiglass front.
I know this is big enough for two baby iguanas.....but how long will this cage be big enough? Will it be sufficent until Janurary if
I buy them at the beginning of october? I live in North Carolina, so they (or just it) won't be able to be outside until May or so.
Also, would it be safe to put a small hibisscus or ficus tree in the cage? is there any particular brand of light which is best for iguanas?
Are those iguana leashes safe? Well, I think thats about it.....Any other tips you could give would be helpful. thanks everyone.
