The legs are slllowwwly starting to function. It has been less than a week since this condition was reported to me, but the lizard (Desi) is starting to show signs of improvement. I did take him into a recommended vet over the weekend and wasn't given a diagnosis. I wasn't charged either, which was good. Sunday, Desi started moving his hips ever slow slightly to aid in walking. Monday was pretty much the same. But today, he started using his back right foot. I am told this is possibly or most probably MTB. Is is normal for recovery to be this way? To me this seems rather speedy, although full use has not been established yet. I do see the popular opinion is no animal protein, but I still feed him about 10, 1/4" supplemented crickets a week. I have tried the juvie iguan food, but He will not touch it. I moisten it with water, and mix it in with the veggies, but he picks around it. any suggestions??
