Worried

I have an Ig about 6mos old. When at his last Vet visit she said he was a little under weight (sorry I don't know how much he was hubby forgot, I knew I should have gone with him) The vet told us we needed to try and fatten him up some. He had been eating pretty good but his appetie has decreased because I think he's trying to shed. I know that loss of appettie is common in shedding but I am worried that he is going to loose too much weight. Right now his sides are a little wrinkled and I think that I read somewhere that they shouldn't be. Well anyways when should I get worried about him getting too skinny. Thank for your help
