I'm assuming that you are referring to the igs that were hatched out in your large enclosure. You let the ig dig in the substrate, lay the eggs, cover them, and let nature do the rest. Did you ever do a temperature probe to see what the temps were in the substrate that the eggs were incubating in? Whereas I don't know that much about igs laying eggs, I do know that burying the eggs under a foot or so of substrate would keep them from temperature extremes. Just wonder why you are sure that high temps caused you to lose eggs.
Wish that I could pull up the source that claimed, (with some authority), that ig sex is genetic, not temp related. If you are interested, e-mail me and I'll try to get you the articles.
