Recent tresearch insdicates, that D3 powder is poorly absorbed-if at all (from my personal expereince it IS absorbed-albeit really poorly). So you should provide one of those oily suspensions.
Overdosing can be as detrimental as too little D3. But quite some things ARE known about recommended dosages for igs: 50iU per week and kg animal are recommended...up to 500 in general have no detrimental effects. But never use more!!!!
