I was wondering, how come with people out in the field studying igs, that no one has analysed what the various igs in the wild eat. I would seem to me that you would observe what they eat, get a sample, send it in for analysis and find out all the percentages of nutrients. Also a note, a person who works at the pet store that I do business with used to live in Nicaragua(sic) and she said that she observed igs eating fish on a regular basis. Also, she said they would eat everything in your garden and fruit trees. The young ones would get into the house and eat anything in sight. Anyway, my igs aren't getting any fish anytime soon, but I thought her observation was interesting.

I am also going crazy building these two new enclosures over the last three months. Though we live in a rain forest(redwood that is ) our weather here in this little part of NorCal is like Vancouver, BC. So all enclosures are insulated and enclosed, like a little tropical rainforest. Anyway, thanks for the feedback. Cliff
