Force-feeding

The heat was increased post-op, and she suns outside daily (Southern California).

The one med is a paste, from a tube. 2ccs twice daily. The only way to give her the med is to open her mouth and squirt it in, But the stresses from forcing that on her seems to have put her off other foods completely.

If other food IS forced in her mouth, 9 times out of 10 she spits it back out, which makes force-feeding a long, drawn-out process (actually, more of a battle of wills).

As her mouth is pulled open, she grunts and snorts, and twists in every direction. We're just worried about putting her through so much stress. :(
