*heavy sigh* i know it's awful trying to figure out which is *worse*, letting them not eat or stressing 'em out trying to feed 'em ...
*what* are you feeding her?? solid food or liquids with an oral syringe??? syringes, i've got a ton a experience with ...
pick a quiet place, same time, same place everyday so Booger knows what to expect ... take a nice bath towel and snuggly wrap her up, set her on your lap, kinda tucked under one arm .... if/when she starts to squirm + freak, put a towel over her head, talk softly, rub her head for a few seconds til she calms down ... remove towel from head + attempt to feed her ... talk softly, move slowly, watch your fingers!
iZ did get to the point where he would willingly let me open his mouth, but never to the point where *he* would open it by himself, even after 6 wks of the fun ...
go slow ... *very small* squirts of food ... iZ could only deal with *a few drops* at a time in the beginning, until he decided he could trust me to not drown him ... oh! iZ always wants to stick his nose up in the air, that doesn't work cuz the liquid goes right down their throat + freaks them out ... gently push her nose down so her head is more horizontal + it'll feel like she's got more control of the stuff going in her mouth ...
the other thing that helps with iZ, is that he knows lots of words ... i tell him what it is before i put it in his mouth + so he knows what to expect ... he knows if it's gonna be "medicine", "green", "juice", etc ... let her smell it before you put it in her mouth + tell her what it is ...
good luck!!! i know it's really yechy ...
