Checked in Maders...not much at all about gastrointestinal post op. symptoms such as what you describe. Only that irrigation is very important following surgery. I doubt that Amphojel is causing this because you would have noticed the dark stools beforehand.Have you tried the yogurt? Wonder if this addition could be causing a little irritable bowel too much yogurt wouldn't be good either (milk sugar and carbs)may be overloading his system with too ^ bacteria too soon....don't know... It may just be normal healing, old blood .... then again..I'd sure want to find out. Sounds like IZ may be seeing his vet again....for bloodwork. I posted your questions about his stools to Dr. Hark...the online herp vet with AOL. He refers everyone to their vet...but sometimes he give invaluable info. Im hoping he'll lend us a hand here. Any luck with posting to IML? Hope this makes some sende Im beat (another double shift)...I don't feel like Im much help at all here. Please keep us posted...IZ is in my thoughts & prayers, doggone his awnry little butt :).
