I recieved a notice from our county computer department about the elf bowling game. They had heard rumor that the game carried a virus set to go off at christmas day. So an employee who works in the computer room downloaded the game to a "off network" computer, then set the calendar up to christmas eve and ran the system......when it came to christmas day the whole hard drive was wiped out. We have been informed to delete this game from our computers before christmas and to make sure it's out of the trash can area too.
If anyone has this game I would suggest going to the website where you can download it and save that link. Once you have the link back to the company, delete the game on your hard drive. I'd wait until the following week after Christmas then go back to the website and see if they post any message regarding a virus showing up. If everything is ok.....download it again.
I wouldn't take any chances with keeping this on your hard drive before Christmas.
