PLEASE HELP!

iZ is very sick ... the vet i LOVE, sent us to a supposed "ig-expert" today ... without turning this into a very long, very angry post, *I* know more about igs than she does AND i know more about putting feeding tubes into tummies ... *sigh* ... she tried to draw blood + couldn't ... tried to snip a claw and get blood that way and his claws won't even bleed cuz he's so dehydrated ... so ... questions ...

am going to tube-feed him "Infalyte" (infant version of Pedialyte) ... need to know HOW MUCH (cc's) and HOW OFTEN???? need to know if i should mix in some Gerber baby food with the Infalyte, or stick to just fluids for now???

one last weird question ... is it unreasonable for me to be considering staying home from work tomorrow to be able to keep dosing him with fluids?? am i worrying TOO much???? i know dehydration can very easlily be deadly ...

any input is greatly appreciated!
