I am curious as to whether or not anyone has done any research on utilizing Kudzu leaves or blossoms as iguana food. For those of you not privileged to know what Kudzu is, it is a vine, native to Japan, that was intrduced to the Southeast USA during the Great Depression era as an erosion control and cattle fodder. Humans can also eat the young leaves either raw or cooked, and can make jams and preserves from the blossoms, though I have never tried it myself. The stuff has pretty much taken over the South, so supplies are readily available up until frost falls, when it will die off till next spring. I can get plenty that has not been sprayed or treated, and I was just wondering if it could be included in an inguana's diet. Any info?
