I seem to vaguely recall reading *somewhere* that it was being studied as a food....just can't remember if I read it in relationship to plant-eating reptiles or cattle! I'll do some checking on it and if I find the reference I'll get back to you on it! People in Fl would probably love to find something more useful for that plant *smile*
