I just got in a young Iguana that had been returned to a Petshop it was purchased from. This Ig has small lumps all over its body (but otherwise looks healthy). The lumps are hard, about the size of an "o" typed on a computer screen, and are just under the skins surface. They have a creamy yellow to yellow-brown color that seems to show thru the skin.
I'm not sure how this Ig was housed after purchase from the store. And the guy that gave it to me didn't bother to ask how they had cared for it. But like I said, in all other ways it seems healthy. The lumps can be seen on the Dewlap, tail, body and eyelids.
I'm going to make an appointment for the Vet, but sadly we don't have any great Herp Vets in this area. Which is why I was wondering if you could tell me anything about this.
