Welcome Blkwido! well sounds to me like abcesses from a systemic bacterial infection. As you know this can kill him if left untreated. Definately make an appt. with the vet for him...the vet may want to culture the abcesses to find out the proper treatment and also start him off on oral anitibiotics...The only thing you can do is elevate the temps in his tank and maybe put a little betadine on any lesions that are open. The yellow-brn discoloration you see is caseated pus (infection) under the skin. If there are any crusty open lesions...I (I) *I* lol would take a Q-tip and dip in betadine and firmly yet gently work the hardened pus out/off. Granted they will return if your iguana is not treated with the proper anti/bs.
This is just a guess....you can ask anyone online get a variety of responses or read any number of sites but unless you have a diagnosis from a vet none of this/it matters.
Have you tried ARAV or A1 for a list of herp vets perhaps one near you? Do you need the links? also someone here may help you with the *regulars* herp vet referral list that keeps growing...
Good luck to ya and let us know how it goes!
Gina
