Hab-IG-trail?

Well, maybe not for igs, but has anyone ever tried using a Habitrail set up for smaller lizards? My hamsters have 3 mods, set up on 3 levels of the bookcase, interconnected by a veritable maze of tubes and junctions. There are several playhouses and sleeping dens incorporated into the mess. It seems this would allow the mods to be temp. regulated and have plenty of room to excercise and move around while still being safely enclosed and as an added bonus for the owner, in plain sight!
What you guys think?
