Hi all,
I was given a beautiful ig from a friend of a friend of a friend. She's about a year with perfect long spikes and lots of pretty blue in her face. Her problem is that she can't really climb or even walk very well. The first week I had her she just dragged herself along. Her toes are very soft and her front legs look swollen and hard. She's getting stronger with a healthy diet and lots and lots of basking in the real CA sunshine. She now picks herself up a bit more when she walks. Is this MBD?? Is it reversable from this stage? Can a vet do anything more for her?? Sorry about all these questions. She's the most beautiful ig I've ever seen. (but don't we all say that about our babies?) I just want to see her climb and run!!
Thanks!!
Leslie.
