Hi Leslie,
Yes it's MBD and you need to address it as quickly as possible. Your ig should be looked at by a GOOD reptile Vet. If he's knows what he's doing, he should give your ig a calcium shot. Continue with the direct sunlight each day. Also please check this site out to make sure your choice of food items are doing your iguana good or not so good. You need to make sure you are feeding your iguana at least a 2 to 1 ratio or more since your iguana has MBD. Here's a list you should follow:
#1. Vet visit (ASAP) Calcium shot and possible
bloodwork.
#2. Balanced diet with correct ratios
#3. Direct sunlight ( not through windows )
#4. Humidity (misting, water bowl, soakings,etc.)
#5. 60 to 90 days return Vet visit....bloodwork
again.
Again please check the site out and make sure you are feeding the correct foods for your iguana. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask them here at the forum.
