I have seen the similar things your explaining except to a worse degree where the Ig wouldn't move it's back legs, tail and couldn't poop.
It was a thiamin defiecency that caused this in my male Ig many years ago. Maybe yours has a bit milder case. So your seeing a bit of movement still.
My Ig's problem was caused from the use of antibiotics which destroyed the gut flora.
It certainly would be no harm to have the vet administer a multi B vitamin injection to the forearm and see if your Ig doesn't respond.
If it's a thiamin defiecency response will be quick and your Ig should be back to movements within 8-12 hrs.
I would really give this a try and see if it works.
Sure hope this helps helps your Ig. It sure helped mine. By the time I got him home after the injection 5 hrs later
he was so active that he literally ran on his back legs across the kitchen floor. :)
I think the dse was a bit more then needed, but he came out just fine.
