Truth - The ONLY lettuce that I like is the iceberg lettuce for myself.

Truth - When I happen to have some iceberg lettuce in the fridge.....there are times that I have given them a leaf of it because it is so full of water. Healthy food wise I know it sucks. But it is good for getting water in to them.....when really needed. I've given Lightning one leaf of it this week because she doesn't eat or drink much when she's on Baytril. In fact, I dipped it in water and she took a bite, dip, bite, dip bite. I've also been giving her her Baytril on 1/4 of a slice of bread. After she takes the initial bite with the med on it, I dip the rest in water before she eats it. This way I know she's getting some water in to her and it's important right now.

Otherwise, no it is not part of a DAILY salad for them. It is RARE that they get it at all. But it does has its uses IMHO.

Glenda (who got bit by Thunder today who mistook her forefinger as an extension of the food)
