new iggy

I just bought my second iguana. It is a large male. 5 years old. It is very tame. I was suprised. Today is the second day I have had him and he spends his whole time at the bottom of the cage. The cage is 8 foot long 5 wide and 5 tall. He has 2 lights on the highest level for heat and I plan on taking him outside in the summer time for sunlight. Can this iguana be sad from leaving its previous owners. I know I would be sad if I left my family that I have been living for my whole life. Thanks
