Yes your new ig can be home sick.Igs hate change even for the better.It sounds like you've got his new home set up properly,didn't mention humidity or feeding tho.Give him a week or so to ajust to his new home,if he hasn't started basking and eating and pooping in a week or so,you might want to consider a vet visit to check on parasites or something else wrong.Don't worry for now tho,he should be fine in about a week.
