Well, my 2-1/2 male and female have been getting down and dirty (sure that's enough of an explanation)... Wondering what I have to expect (other than possible fertilized eggs). Anyone know what the time frame(s) are, other than putting sand in the bottom of the cage (with large hiding area), etc... and what care should be given the female? At least he was fairly gentle, and she submitted. I've heard horror stories of the male nearly crushing the female's head. Had I known they were in the midst of their season, probably would have separated them to keep her safe! Their so tame, I've still been handling, petting, etc with no problems.
