How often do you feed your iguana?

I once read in a book called The Green Iguana Manual that iguanas over 4 years of age don't need to be fed everyday, but like every other day. I also know that this book was written 6 or 7 years ago and could have some outdated info. My iguana is a little over 5 years, and I feed it everyday. Is that too much? What do you guys with adult iguanas do?
