: offer your ig as MUCH food as he wants! : getting too fat is NOT a problem that iguanas usually have! *grin* ... like someone else pointed out, igs don't understand why there's food sometimes, + sometimes there isn't ~ all it's gonna do is stress them out + make for an UNhappy iguana ... : : iZ is about 6yo ~ he's never been much of a breakfast eater, but he still gets a breakfast salad everyday ~ some days he actually eats it, but usually he throws it on the floor ~ <i><small>(no, that's not true ~ sometimes he uses it for a pillow ...) </i></small> ~ but he gets a small salad every morning ANYway cuz <i>sometimes</i> he DOES want it ... : then at supper time, he gets + EATS a HUGE salad mounded on a 10" square plate, and if he eats all of that, i offer him more ... <i>just in case</i> he wants it ... : since he eats every day, he also poops everyday + makes his humommy very happy! *grin* ... it's a good HEALTHY routine ... : best wishes! : Bon. + iZ
