Yes,I think you are right. A lot of the hybrids have also been crossed with the Cuban cyclura (C.nubila nubila).

Yes. Get a good bloodline.People say that the blue color will not come out until they are about 2 years old, but
pure lewisi and some hybrids from good bloodlines show blues way before then.
I have pictures of some baby lewisi only 8 months old that are very blue. The color only intensifies as they age.
