Hello! I am diffently no expert, but had a comment about your Life Studies ants. I have two three and half month old HLs from Wyoming. THey are the species that have live births-see I told you I was real dumb at this stuff. Anyways, I have ordered the ants from Ants Alive (Life studies), but I did so by phone so that I could speak to someone about how little my babies were. They suggested getting "Argentine" ants, which are a species of harvester ants. My babies eat them right up with no problems. They are a much smaller ant. I order 500-1000 of them every two weeks. I have also been giving the babies mealworms and pinhead crickets. On occasion I will give them some pill bugs also, although not entirely their favorites. Like I said I am no expert but found my experience with Life Studies to be good! Here's the number 877-864-2207! Good Luck!
