heya folks
I have a pair of H nasicus nasicus and the male is fairly big around 27" and 5 years old, the female is around 18" and about a third of his wieght and 21 months old , I am hoping to breed them but I probably wont get anything this year.
the main question I have is will the female be likely to get much bigger, I got the male as an adult and he wasnt eating and has never eaten mice unless scented with trout, but once he ate his first meal of trout and then trout scented mice he grew around 9 inches, is the same thing likely to occur with the female. also anybody out there got another beefy male it seems odd to look at them when everybody says the males are little things and see him dwarfing her.
