Just looking over a few hog pics I had and I found this interesting individual from Central TX. I have actually found several in this area (Gillespie County) and they were all this sort of dark gray/light gray pattern. They don't seem to become completely melanistic but they don't show much yellow as adults either. Kind of pretty easterns, IMHO.
The ugly white patch towards the tail is of course "hognose body paint" (i.e. uric acid).
