E. hogs and color change??

I was recently given an eastern which exhibits a lot of orange/red flecking. Will this increase or decrease with age, or simply stay the same. It is a new young snake from this year and I'd guess perhaps only a month or so of age. It is fat and healthy, too. Found in Austin, TX with a clutchmate.
