the hogs I have seen from eastern tx, not many, but a good number considering I am from NJ, are either nice reddish or chocolate brown. Adult coloration is not shown until 18-24 months of age. Only time will tell. The reds come from a little north of Houston. Those are the ones in my collection, and they can be very variable.
