I'm a python newbie myself..I've had Niko (Ball python) for about a month and a half,and to tell ya the truth,I'd take a hundred more!!!...LOL!
He's about 2 ft. and on average feeding him 5 mice a week,and even with the curiousity he has,he'll still sleep in your lap.I can already tell that he's gonna be a life-long friend.
I completely agree though...please find a Captive bred! like I did..:)
