i visited my sister today, who works in a pet store at her college. they just happened to have a beautiful ball python. supposedly its a female, but they arent sure. she ate 2 days ago, on friday. shes very healthy looking, except for a small scar.. i really dont care about that at all, i fell in love with her the minute i picked her up. she crawled all over my arms while we walked around the pet store getting the rest of the stuff i needed (this turned a lot of heads). shes quite sweet and didnt seem to mind the handling. they guaranteed (spelling?) me that she was captive BRED.. shes about 18 inches. ill get a good measurement in a few days along with pictures when shes used to her new home. her 'new home' is a 65 gallon reptarium.. yea thats HUGE but it was a steal for $25... i got a water dish big enough for her and a heat pad and a light. shes very beautiful and i hope she will be happy... the whole setup (cage, snake, and everything) cost me $160. the python was $60.. which is still cheaper that buying online and shipping it to my house. and becuase my sis works there, i got a 20% discount :D

ill have some pics up here soon.. dave
