:"Sprayed shoe boxes lined with paper towels after removing snakes and water bowls. "
:I'm a little unclear on what you're saying here. Did you house the snakes in shoe boxes (I'm assuming like plastic sterilite type boxes) with a paper towel substrate?
:Did you leave the paper towels in when you sprayed? Did you have the snakes in the same room as the boxes when you sprayed and did you spray in a well ventilated area? Maybe if you can give a better description of the enclosures it would help...

Sorry. Snakes and water bowls were removed. The plastic shoe boxes were cleaned and lined with paper towels. They were then taken to another bedroom and sprayed. They were not in the same room. The next day, I brought the boxes back to the snake room and returned the snakes and water bowls back. The rubbermaid shoe boxes have 1/8" holes in the sides and in the lid.
6 total snakes. 3 out of 4 hognose passed in 24 hours. The last one and the two pueblans were put into other non sprayed shoe boxes and they seem to be doing ok. The plastic shoe boxes holding the dead hognose seem to be dry.
