Hi there...
I'm just toying around with some different ideas at this point, but I have a 40 gallon long aquarium that I've been thinking of making an aqua-terrarium. It would either be setup as 1/2 land, 1/2 water, front water pool with back end land, or a "river tank" type.
I do plan on keeping fish, but I'm not sure what type of herp to put in. Frogs were one idea of mine....but I'd be concerned with them drowning. So either it would have to be a tree frog that could swim a little or get to the side if the glass/protruding rocks and escape, or a terrestrial frog that can swim or would avoid that area.
Anything fit that description?
I have a ton of different tank laying around, too, so I could change things. For example, I have two 10 gallons I could use for something simple like a pacman, and I also have a nice eclipse 6 acrylic aquarium....I'd love Mantellas, but I just couldn't feed them what they need.
