What I would do is feed different amount of crickets every week.
Heck, throw in 5, 3 the next, 1 or two the next week at different day intervals... etc. Just like in the wild, and in the commercial... You never know what your going to get.

Also, add some variety... Try earthworms as treats. My firebellied toads and newt LOVE them. Aswell with try waxworms(treat), and your occasional outdoor bugs. (Where no pesticides are)I'll take like an a hairless caterpillar, from the ground and give it to a firebellied toad. Be creative with your toads diet.
