egg inpaction

any help would be appreciated. my corn laid 20 eggs less than 48 hours ago. however, she has one egg she not passed. we have tried soaking her in lukewarm water and massaging it out, with no sucess. is surgical removal the only option.
also, being new at this we didn't have an egg box prepared and she laid her eggs in the water bowl. can we expect the eggs to survive. they look good but have glassy,almost transparent spots.
