:I just noticed that one of my snakes has several small areas of raised scales along its sides, as if it has developed sores. In all there are about 6 little spots. They are only noticeable to the touch. When I carefully inspected them, I still could barely see the trouble, but there is the faintest amount of redness under those areas.

:Its like antbites, blisters, or mosquito bites would look on us if we had scales.
:Has anyone seen this/had experience with this?
:They weren't there @ 2 weeks ago-last time I handled him.
:The enclosure had aspen bedding, which I removed, thinking it possibly harboring some type of arthropods that were too small to detect. Temps are perfect.
:The humidity was a bit high, but I've corrected that.
:Thanks,
:- Jack

If your humidity was high for long or damp or whatnot I tend to think it might be the beginning of a scale rot. I would personally bathe in a dilute betadine bath. Let her soak in plain water first to if she is gonna drink she will not drink the betadine. Couple times a week and let it heal if it is gonna.
