I was at Lowes today and came across the following plants:

ficus benjamina (weeping fig)
kimberly queen fern

I already have some hanging plants (pothos) but I'm looking for a nice tall potted plant to put in the cage. Right now the bottom half looks so empty.

So, are either of these cham safe?

Also, I'm going to be building a cham cage soon....is untreated pine a safe wood to use??
